Petroleum Coke

 
 
 

The ENI engineering and construction companies Roberts & Schaefer and Separator (E&C); and equipment companies Centrifugal & Mechanical Industries (CMI), Tabor Machine Company (Tabor), and Norris Screens (Norris) possess significant expertise in the processing, handling and optimization of petroleum coke in the coal-fired boilers of electric power generating plants.

Our E&C companies specialize in Engineer-Procure-Construct (EPC) and Engineer-Procure-Construction Management (EPCM) of bulk material handling facilities integral to flue gas desulfurization systems. Our engineers design systems that receive and convey pet coke from rapid discharge railcars to fuel supply bunkers. We also design, engineer and manufacture specialized equipment like combination stackers/claimers and transfer cars to handle pet coke.

CMI vibratory and screen scroll centrifuges and Tabor vibrating screen systems are used in coking applications, particularly in the sizing and cleaning of pet coke, while Norris stainless steel screen panels meet the most challenging pet coke sizing applications.
